To ensure we met the magazine's high standards, we cast two experienced professional models, Gert-Jan and Alison, for this production. Working with seasoned talent completely transforms the dynamic on set; they understand lighting, angles, and direction instinctively, which allows the photographer to focus entirely on composition and creativity.

This was especially crucial when working with live animals. Horses are majestic but unpredictable, so having models who remained calm and confident while interacting with them was the key to getting the perfect shot. We coordinated the entire production, from scouting a secluded location with the right rustic texture to timing the session for that signature golden hour light. The result was a stunning series of editorial images that effortlessly blended rugged nature with sophisticated fashion, delivering exactly what the publication needed for their article.
