ABOUT THE photoshoot
After collaborating on a moodboard, they decided to schedule the session at sunrise at the iconic Cala Comte. Planning a photoshoot for the early morning offers two major advantages that elevate the final result. First, the beach is completely empty (no sunbeds, no tourists, just pristine sand and sea) allowing for a clean, distraction-free background.
Second, the quality of light is unmatched. The soft, golden morning sun wraps everything in a flattering glow, avoiding the harsh shadows of midday. Cala Comte proved to be the ideal location, offering a diverse range of backdrops from rocky cliffs to turquoise waters within a short walking distance. This variety gave Marlies a rich gallery of diverse content that feels cohesive yet versatile for her website and social media channels.
When Marlies reached out to us, she was looking for a photographer who could capture fresh, authentic imagery for her personal brand during her stay on the island. We immediately connected her with our lead Ibiza-based photographer, Avieta Claessens, knowing her soft and natural style would be the perfect fit for Marlies' vision.
